see this is the kind of moment where i would say 'lol'
you remember what i taught you about photography, right? well movies use photography to tell the same kinda stories you're used to in books and songs. there are special cameras that take a bunch of pictures really fast, and then show them to you in order, so it looks like the images are moving. and they capture the sound, as well. so it's like a photograph of an entire play, and you can watch it as many times as you like, just like you could look at a photo as many times as you like.
i could find one with lots of adventure for us to watch, if you've got an hour or two sometime?
oh, no, nowhere near that many. most films have a frame rate - that's how fast the pictures go by - of 24 fps (frames per second), right? so let's say the average movie is two hours long, that's 7200 seconds, so only 172800 pictures. not even close to a million, much less a million million.
sure! whenever! you can bring your sister, too, if you want. or, y'know, friends. the more the merrier.
well, movies aren't just made by one person, there are usually hundreds of people involved. actors, people who make costumes and sets and music, editors and lighting guys and key grips, whatever a key grip is. but the actual process of taking a video's not so hard. i can show you how, if you want. [ He seems to keep saying those words, when he's talking to Arya - and he doesn't mind one bit ]
[ And a lot of resources, too. It must be nice to have the manpower to devote hundreds of people and coin to making pictures move. Where Arya is from, people are busy enough keeping themselves warm, fed, and alive. ]
Then I'll be sure to make certain she comes! I think you two will get along well.
