[ Cisco drops his hands, nods quickly, swallowing, really hoping that however Angela calls in that debt isn't going to be something that gets him killed. Or worse, something that requires him to make horrible weapons, or hurt someone, or anything like that. Because if that is the case, he will have to refuse, and then he suspects things will get very ugly. Angela seems like someone who takes debts very seriously.

But he can cross that bridge when they come to it. No need to catastrophize right now and imagine the worst case scenario. Angela at least seems like she has changed her mind about maiming him for the time being, which is a relief. It doesn't mean Cisco can relax, obviously, but he at least prevents himself from tipping over the edge into outright panic. He sits down on a stool beside the workbench, visibly shaking from head to toe. ]

Your- your girlfriend, or partner or whatever, can I... I'd like to apologize to her, too. Make sure she knows it was just a fuck up, and I didn't know.
