Poe is in the hospital because they fought. Or..did something else ridiculous stupid.

But Poe is recovering...and he's alive. So...that's what I mean by 'fine.'

[ Cisco picks up immediately, and his voice is tight with worry. ]

Are you safe? Is he after you? Do you need somewhere to hide out? Eddie and I have a spare bedroom in the apartment since Yuri moved out.

[ It is good that Poe is alive, but things are still far from fine, and Cisco's clearly kicked into Crisis Mode. ]

I am safe, Finn and I are both safe.

[It's touching, really, to know Cisco cares this much.] Kylo Ren isn't after me. He isn't chasing any of us around.

I just wanted you to be aware. I don't know what his username is, but, he is here.

Just...be careful...please.

Are you sure? [ She gave that answer so quickly that Cisco isn't sure if he can trust it. Maybe that's just him being paranoid, but his head is full of awful scenarios. Rey had seemed so frightened of this man, so worried that he or any of the other members of the First Order would show up. What if she's being monitored? Coerced? Cisco speaks softer, so that even if someone else was in the room with Rey, they wouldn't be able to make out the words: ]

He's not there now, is he? Listen, Rey... if he's threatened you, told you to tell everybody things are okay or else he'll hurt Poe or whatever, you can tell me. I can help. I've dealt with bad guys before.

[ Cisco is already on his feet, not sure where he should go or what he should do, but he can't just sit around, if there's a threat. He needs to do something. ]

If he's listening, clear your throat or cough or something.

[ Her answer comes out softer, showing that she is sincere and tired too. More than anything, she’s probably overwhelmed too. She’s trying to keep things together, because that’s how she’s survived all this time. She’s pushed through so many things to the point where, she doesn’t remember to rest or anything else. Only focused on keeping everyone else safe. ]

No, he’s not with me. I wouldn’t be calling or talking about him if he were. I wouldn’t put you in that sort of danger.

[ There’s a pause as she gathers her thoughts. When she speaks again, it’s softer, trying to grasp what exactly has happened within the past few days. ]

He didn’t attack me, Cisco. He found me and we didn’t fight, didn’t draw lightsabers...we talked and I yelled at him for different things.

But he didn’t provoke me. Didn’t try to do anything.

Hey - none of that, okay? Don't try to protect me. If you're in danger, I wanna be in danger right along with you. We're a team. It's what we do.

[ There's a steeliness and resolve in Cisco's voice that Rey probably has not heard, before. Cisco doesn't like being in risky situations as much as the next person, but he doesn't want Rey thinking about him as someone who has to be shielded, and kept out of the loop. He can't help her, can't watch her back, if she doesn't trust him to take care of himself. ]

What kind of game do you think he's playing?

[ It's both good and bad, that this dude hadn't gone into immediate kill mode or whatever, but Cisco's not a fool. A patient villain is more dangerous than an impatient one. If Kylo has plans, they need to figure out what they are, as quickly as possible, so that they aren't just reacting to whatever inevitable horribleness he cooks up. Team Flash had ended up in that position too often, with Dr. Wells. Cisco isn't going to make the same mistake again. ]

We are a team, but I'm not going to risk my entire team over this.

[She is doing this to protect him, and if she can't handle it, at least...at least there would be others to help. Best to send one ship to try and take care as many other ships before the rest of the fleet comes in. She's thinking this in terms of the flight simulations she's run in the past.

Rey does trust him, and trying not to push him aside, but she's thinking about the long term game, not the short term one.]

I don't know. He doesn't have the First Order to direct. Nor does he have Snoke, his mentor, here.

[She's trying to gather all of her thoughts together, but it's hard. Lack of sleep and stress can really mess with one's mind.]

He's probably going to look for a way back home, like I was. And when he realizes he can't find a way back...I'm not sure what he'll do. It's not in his best interests to pick a fight but...

[She lets out a frustrated sigh.] He can't even comprehend what a damn ceasefire means!

[ Cisco's inclined to think that it's not really Rey's decision, whether he takes risks or not, but he doesn't belabor the point for now. He has his own means of gathering information, and now that he knows the threat is present, he can educate himself, make his own choices, regardless of whether Rey wants to shield him. After all, he's capable of being just as stubborn as she is, thanks very much.

From the sound of it, Kylo's cut off from his allies, which is good. An isolated enemy is easier to take out. But that doesn't mean he isn't dangerous. Not by any means.]

People don't always make choices based on their best interested. And psychos can be twice as dangerous, when they get stuck somewhere they don't wanna be. I know that for a fact

[ He'd learned that from the Reverse Flash, who had been willing to do anything to get back to his own time, no matter how cruel, how twisted, how horrible. Cisco sighs, aggravated, but there's nothing to be done at the moment. He can't talk to Rey and come up with contingency plans at the same time, so he says, with an air of finality: ]

Listen... just stay safe, okay? We'll all of us come up with a plan, and until then, if he lays a finger on you, I'ma end him.
