[ Poe sounds a little tired, but otherwise calm. ]

Rey won't be in to work for a bit. [ A pause. ] There's really no good way to say she's in the hospital, but she's in the hospital. She's going to be fine--she... we weren't keeping a good enough eye on her. She got sick, wasn't taking care of herself.

[ It's not like Cisco hadn't noticed that Rey's been a bit absent, recently, but he'd assumed that the best way to deal with it was to leave her alone; he knows her, knows that any concern he might express could be misinterpreted as a criticism, that he might heap on more worry that she wasn't doing her job well enough and could be in trouble. ]

Sick? What does she have - what happened?

[ Cisco's voice is clipped and there's the sound of various commotion in the background, which is absolutely Cisco pulling on his coat and getting ready to rush out the door to the hospital. ]

How long's she been there? Is anybody with her?

It's the flu. [ Which doesn't make a lot of sense to him--just the flu, there should be more to the name than that, really. He pressed the doctors about it until they reassured him in every way they could short of showing him test results that it wasn't serious. ]

We found her passed out in our room and brought her in, couple hours ago. Finn and I are both here and we're not going anywhere. Not unless we have to. You're coming?

[ Cisco, on the other hand, knows that the flu can be deadly, in the right circumstances. How many resistances had her immune system had a chance to build, anyway, on a desert planet like Jakku? And now she's here, in a place with people and microbes from all over the multiverse. It's a miracle they aren't all dead from various illnesses, and the thought that Rey could've been hurt even worse... She had been passed out?! That's bad. Really bad.

Rushing out the door, he sends off one last message. ]
