all of us were a lot older you know, when lucretia took away the ipre and some of the memories of our world we lost a lot

magnus didnt have as much to lose. he was barely into this 20s when we left so there wasnt as much there to fuck with

[He lost the cycles, but that was just time and experience. Magnus was just reset, but the rest of them lost more.

He also doesn't miss Cisco's offer for karaoke, but he's kind of distracted with that realization]

[ Taako's surprise at this revelation is not something that translates, precisely, into text. To Cisco it reads merely like a patient explanation, to a human who is (after all) from a world with only humans, and thus unused to comparing himself to elves and dwarves and other such creatures with longer lifespans. He knows that Lucretia was a part of the crew and human, too, but then she had never lost her memory. And Barry might have been human to start, but hadn't he become a lich? Probably a whole different situation, there. So Magnus would have been the only one of them who was a human at the time that their memories were erased. ]

i guess that makes sense.
if he's younger, there was less erase, and he'd also be better at adapting to a new life in a new place.

[ He knows that youth is supposed to come with a certain degree of resilience, though whether or not that's actually true is hard to say. After all, Cisco's only a little bit into his 20s, himself. This might be one of those things he won't know until he gets there, himself. ]
